 Simple developed a line of sustainable sneakers called ecoSNEAKS®. In addition to looking great, the ecoSNEAKS® collection uses materials like recycled car tires, certified organic cotton, PET (think recycled plastic bottles), recycled bike tires, and hemp, just to name a few. So they a leave better ecological footprint than ordinary sneakers....
Features:
- Women's vegan certified organic cotton and hemp sneaker with recycled PET ribbon laces. PET is made of recycled soda bottles. Hemp grows really fast without the use of pesticides, and when it's woven into fabric, it's soft, durable, and breathable.
- Vegan shoe! No animal byproducts or even regular animal products
- Certified organic cotton linings. Organic cotton comes from non-genetically modified seeds and is grown without the use of pesticides and herbicides.
- The "pedbed" (the cushiony and supportive stuff at the bottom of the shoe) is made of super soft and squishy polyurethane and recycled car tire.
- The foot form inserts are made of post consumer recycled paper.
- Even the boxes are environmentally friendly – made of post-consumer recycled paper, soy based printing ink, natural latex and starch based glue.
- SHOES ALSO COME WITH PEACHY-PINK COLORED REGULAR LACES, JUST IN CASE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SUBSTITUTE THE BOW FOR A DIFFERENT LOOK.
